How does Clocking track my work hours automatically?
Clocking uses your device location to detect when you enter or leave a work location you defined. It clocks you in and out automatically, so you never have to open the app when you arrive at or leave the office. All location processing stays on your device.
How does Clocking calculate overtime?
You set a work schedule with planned hours per day of the week. Clocking compares the time you actually track against your planned hours and keeps a running overtime balance. Days off, sick days and holidays don't count against you because only days you clocked in are included.
Is Clocking free?
Yes. Time tracking, leave notifications and editing sessions are free. Clocking Premium unlocks automatic location clock-in, widgets, unlimited history, long-term statistics and CSV export.
Does Clocking share my location data?
Location data is retained on your device to power location-based session tracking and is not intentionally uploaded or shared with external cloud services. See the privacy policy for details.
What happens if I forget to clock out?
When you open the app with a session still running from a previous day, Clocking reminds you and lets you set an end time, extend the session, or delete it.
